This FAQ(Frequently Asked Question) contains all relevant questions, that have come up over and over. Instead of seeking help with every question, try to find your answers here first.
If you can think of any question, that we should add to our FAQ, please reach out to a staff member.

Someone in chat is being abusive/overly toxic, what can I do?

Please contact a Staff Member on our Discord Server. Join Discord A Staff Member will then take care of a situation. If you want to provide proof, take some screenshots of the incident.

Why was I muted?

A reason for your mute will be shown when you try to send a message in chat. You will also be informed about who muted you. If you disagree with the mute or you want to apologize, please contact the Staff Member that muted you. To get unbanned/unmuted, please write a Ban appeal located in the Sidebar.

Why was this guy muted?

We only mute people if there is a reason for it. So if someone got muted, we can assure you, that it was a fair mute.

Why have I been Soft/Chat banned and what is a Soft ban?

A reason for your Soft/Chat ban will be shown when you try to send a message in chat or if you try to play any of our minigames. You will also be informed about who muted you. If you disagree with the ban or you want to apologize, please contact the Staff Member that banned you. To get unbanned/unmuted, please write a Ban appeal located in the Sidebar.

By being soft banned, you will no longer be able to Trade or play Duels. You will not get any season rewards and you will not be shown in the rankingboard.

Why have I been permanently banned from RLSimulator and what can I do about it?

Please contact a Staff Member on our Discord Server to get further information about your ban and if it can be removed. (Staff Members that can help: Dev and Admin) Join Discord

What is Premium and how do I get it?

Premium is a special membership that you can buy (with real money) to get some nice features on our website. You can view those features on the Premium page located on our sidebar(left). Premium costs $5/5€. After paying, you will be granted Premium status for one month. You can buy Premium through Paypal or Patreon.

What is Patreon and how does it work?

Patreon is an awesome Website to support your favorite creators(maybe us? :P). You can support us on Patreon by pledging $1 or more. When pledging at least $5 you will receive Premium status for one month. Notice, that Patreon charges you on the 1st of every month. Once we receive payment, you will get Premium status.

What is Paypal and how does it work?

Paypal is an easy way to pay online. The advantage of supporting us through Paypal is that your payment will go through instantly and you will automatically receive Premium status on our Website.

Why is Premium monthly?

As we are hosting our own server, we need to pay for it monthly. To get that done, we need to get enough money every single month to keep the server running. Because of this, we made the decision to require monthly payments to support the server. We may offer a lifetime premium plan someday, but it will take time to accurately determine a price that is fair and appropriate.

How do I redeem codes?

Redeem codes can be redeemed on the Settings page right beneath your username in the top left of the Website. Simply put in the code and click “Redeem”. Notice that you can only use a code once per account.

When will there be new codes to redeem?

Whenever we do a sponsoring deal with an influencer(Youtuber etc.) we may add a new temporary code. We will also add some special codes once in awhile to keep you excited.

How do I get my own code?

We only create codes for influencers (Youtubers etc.) that we are doing a sponsoring deal with. To be eligible you must have at least 5000 followers to get a code.
